"My favorite part about gameday is our atmosphere and pregame. I have always loved performing pregame because it's so traditional," Alexis shared.

For Alexis, twirling at UAB is more than just a performance—it's about being involved and showing school spirit. She loves being part of a team that supports each other and creates unforgettable experiences together. One of her cherished game-day traditions is getting ready with her teammates in the music building's bathroom, where they hype each other up and play music to get in the zone.
Preparing for Gameday
As a captain this year, Alexis's preparation process has evolved. Her focus now includes ensuring her teammates are ready, prayed over, and feeling confident. Personally, she prepares by listening to her favorite song, carefully doing her hair and makeup, and chatting with her teammates to build camaraderie.
When it comes to pre-game snacks, Alexis enjoys trail mix and, of course, a Chick-fil-A meal before heading into the stadium.
